Mark the day on your calendar – Sunday May 21st, 2017 – Nanaimo Heritage Days is on its way! This year’s celebration is a one day event focused around its heritage themed parade and a variety of free family activities in the downtown area to fill your day with FUN!

Family activities start at 10am and include Arts and Crafts, Kids Rides, Entertainment, Performances, Food Vendors, and much more downtown at Diana Krall Plaza, Maffeo Sutton Park, and Swy-A-Lana Lagoon Park. Family activities continue throughout the day until 5pm.

At 1pm sharp the Nanaimo Heritage Days Parade begins, starting at the top of Victoria Road and making its way through the downtown core to Maffeo Sutton Park.

This May long weekend celebration continues a Nanaimo tradition that has been held non-stop for over 152 years - come downtown on Sunday May 21st, 2017 and join in all the fun at this year's Nanaimo Heritage Days. See you there!
