- How do I find events for a certain date or period of time?
HarbourLiving.ca is a website listing events happening across Vancouver Island including the Gulf Islands. It is a database driven website with events supplied by the event organizers and promotors themselves.
You will notice that HarbourLiving.ca is broken down into regions. We did that to make it easier to find events happening in your community. If you live in Victoria, most likely you will usually be looking for events happening in and around Victoria. However, we know that islanders love to explore so we've made it very simple to find out about events happening in other regions of the island.
On the right side of every page of HarbourLiving.ca there is a drop down menu which either says Change Region, South Island, Central Island or North Island. This is how you will know which region of HarbourLiving.ca you will see events listed for. Simply choose the region that you are most interested in finding events for. On the right side of every page of HarbourLiving.ca there is a calendar. If you are looking for an event happening for a specific date, simply choose the date on the calendar and it will list all the events we have for that date. If you are looking for a specific date range, click on the words Advanced Search just above the calendar. This will allow you to enter a date range that you are looking for events for.
