Get involved – become a Milner Gardens volunteer! You don’t need a green thumb to join this fun, vibrant, local community of volunteers!

Volunteers lend their time and talent to help in the Gardens, greet visitors, serve tea, mentor children in our Shoots with Roots program, help with construction, lead tours, sit on various committees, assist with special projects and events and more! Drop in to our Volunteer Opportunity and Orientation afternoon. No pre-registration needed.

Sunday March 25, 2018 from 1 to 3pm.

We will meet at the Welcome & Interpretive Centre adjacent to the parking lot. Dress for the outdoors and wear comfortable walking shoes/boots as we start with a quick tour through the ancient forest trails to the Gardens, then convene in the Magnolia Room of Milner house for presentations on the Milner Gardens social history, volunteer handbook and customer service.

Open shuttle cart service is available from the Welcome & Interpretive Centre to the gardens and is prioritized for those with mobility concerns. Certified guide and service dogs only allowed in the Gardens.
