At this time of year there is always a lot of extra zucchini's and this is a great way to use them for the day! Come; bring the family, neighbours, friends to the Cedars Farmers Market, there is no age limits to enter and best of all its FREE.

Participants will create and decorate race cars using a zucchini, carrots and supplied wooden wheels and axles. The cars will then compete in threes and race down a wooden ramp. The races will begin at opening of the market and end all racers are given a prize.

After you have raced, you can take home your car and add it to your favourite stir-fry.

The Market has over 60 Vendors featuring amazing island local Farm Fresh Produce, Plants and Baked Goods and Arts & Crafts, a great way to spend a Sunday.
