This event originated as a celebration of the agricultural roots of Saanich and has blossomed into a grand festival for all ages.  Enjoy an old style family picnic at the beach or take part in a wide range of free family activities.  The beautiful beach setting at Beaver Lake creates the ideal location for relaxing while you enjoy stage entertainment or you can entertain the kids in the lower children's section.

The traditional serving of Strawberries and Ice Cream starts at 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  Tickets can be purchased for the strawberries and ice cream from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm at the ticket booth near the main stage area for only 50 cents per serving.
