Once Upon a Craft Fair, formally Nanaimo Professional Craft Fair has been Nanaimo's go to craft fair for three decades! Ever changing and improving. Nanaimo’s only themed craft fair.

Come shop amongst our fairy tale characters, take a picture in our photo mystical booth, enter to win one of our many hourly prizes and enjoy your complimentary shortbread cookie or Scottish Tablet provide by Island Highlander.

Keep the children entertained with our Gnome Hunt. Kids must spot 10 little Gnomes hiding amongst the vendor booths. This allows you to view the whole craft fair while the little ones are on the hunt. You get to shop, they win a prize. EVERYONE IS A WINNER!

Whichever day you happen to visit, the Once Upon a Craft Fair you're likely to find an authentic Christmas market with plenty of high-quality products that make ideal gifts. The handicraft tradition is strong, and you’ll find everything from wooden art, culinary delights and unique creations to stylish jewelry.

Make a day of it! Shop for the people in your life as well as yourself. Because you deserve it! It has been said that shopping can work up an appetite. Have a lovely meal created by award winning Chef Stu’s of Island Highlander. He’ll be whipping up wonderful culinary delights in the kitchen.
