Merridale and MEC have joined together on October 2nd, 2016 for the first ever Fall Century Ride, featuring 60K and 105K routes that are sure to please.
The journey begins at Merridale and winds through the scenic beauty of the Cowichan Valley, exploring the roads of Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, and Cowichan Bay. Finish off the ride at Merridale with a cider tasting and artisan pizza from our brick oven, included in the price of registration.
Merridale welcomes all riders to enjoy the farm and take part in tours, tastings, shopping or just relaxing on the deck. Live music by Tom Morrisey, a Celtic/Irish Pub Duo, begins at 5:30pm, so consider sticking around into the evening. Visit mec.ca for full details on the ride and registration. Fall Century Riders are also raising money for Canucks Autism Network (CAN) to help support programs for people and families living with autism on Vancouver Island.
Visit the CAN website for details on fundraising efforts. This event is part of the Savour Cowichan Festival, running September 24th to October 3rd. Check out the Savour Cowichan website for more great events.
