Organic Master Gardener Connie Kuramoto demonstrates techniques for building your soil � mulching, lasagna layering, groundcovers and more. Soil microbiologist Kathleen Millar introduces us to the tiny critters that make up a healthy �Soil Food Web� to create an environment where water is stored easily, pests are naturally kept in check and plants thrive. After this workshop you will have a better understanding about how to nurture the soil and why that is important for a beautiful and water-wise garden.
