Organic Master Gardener Connie Kuramoto demonstrates techniques for building your soil – mulching, lasagna layering, groundcovers and more. Soil microbiologist Kathleen Millar introduces us to the tiny critters that make up a healthy ‘Soil Food Web’ to create an environment where water is stored easily, pests are naturally kept in check and plants thrive. After this workshop you will have a better understanding about how to nurture the soil and why that is important for a beautiful and water-wise garden.=0D=0A=
