It's back! The almost-world-famous Cumberland Pie of the Year Contest with all proceeds to the Cumberland Forest Project.
Bakers compete for fame and fortune and cool prizes and the whole community gets to taste! This year we'll be adding in a silent auction of cakes and baking as well! It's all part of the annual Foggy Mountain Fall Fair. The Pie Contest takes place Saturday Oct 1st. Pie load-in and table set up is between 11 and noon. People's Choice judging is from 12 till 3 pm. Baking pie not your thing? Prefer cakes? This year the event also includes a CAKE AUCTION.
Cakes can be delivered, complete with recipe/ingredients list to the OAP Hall between 11 and and noon for Silent Auction from 12 till 5 pm! 100% proceeds support the forest. Prizes will be awarded for Crowd Favorites! Special Youth Category (under 16).
