It's back! The almost-world-famous Cumberland Pie of the Year Contest with all proceeds to the Cumberland Forest Project.
=0D=0A=Bakers compete for fame and fortune and cool prizes and the whole community gets to taste! This year we'll be adding in a silent auction of cakes and baking as well! It's all part of the annual Foggy Mountain Fall Fair. The Pie Contest takes place Saturday Oct 1st. Pie load-in and table set up is between 11 and noon. People's Choice judging is from 12 till 3 pm. =0D=0A=Baking pie not your thing? Prefer cakes? This year the event also includes a CAKE AUCTION.
=0D=0A=Cakes can be delivered, complete with recipe/ingredients list to the OAP Hall between 11 and and noon for Silent Auction from 12 till 5 pm! 100% proceeds support the forest. Prizes will be awarded for Crowd Favorites! Special Youth Category (under 16).
