What's better than in season fruits and cool ice cream on a hot summer day? Join Pastry Chef Megan Hennis to learn the secrets to perfect your Pie and Ice cream combo!
Using vibrant summer fruits, we will create the perfect peach pie, with a no-fail flaky crust and a hint of fresh ginger. Complementing this pie is a creamy bourbon, vanilla ice cream...perfect for summer! Next we will make a juicy cherry galette with a citrus almond frangipan and a buttery pate brisee pastry dough. Along with this galette, will be a rich chocolate gelato. To die for!
To top it all off, we will create some beautiful caramelized sugar garnishes to add the finishing touch to our decadent desserts.
