Roti, naan, kulcha, paratha, bhatoora, poori, dosa... the list is long. Thanks to the Indian convention of eating with one's hands, the bread produced on the subcontinent is perhaps among the most diverse in the world. Breads throughout South Asia often double as spoon and plate. Hundreds of variations exist across the dozens of regions. Leave those packaged versions at the store and learn how to make some of the common breads that are part of everyday meals. Techniques, equipment and cooking methods will be explored. Demonstration with lots of hands-on learning and hands-on eating.
