A Taste of Spring Fundraiser

Bill Jones, of Deerholme Farm, and the Cowichan Chef’s Collaborative will host a fundraiser in CGC’s honour on May 1, 2016 at the Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar. This afternoon event will be a long table affair, with individual courses paired with local wine and cider. This year’s menu has been designed by an incredible group of local chefs including:
Ian Blom (Old Firehouse Wine and Cocktail Bar)
Absinthe cured Confit Raincoast Trout. Crispy Skin. Fermented Fennel & Sea asparagus, ramp puree.
Bill Jones (Deerholme Farm)
Smoked Turkey and Stinging Nettle strata with wild herbs and morel sauce
Dan Hudson (Hudson’s on First)
Assiette of Pork with Choucroute
Fatima da Silva (Vinoteca)
Nettle and hazelnut ravioli with chicken broth and crispy pancetta
Marisa Goodwin (Organic Fair).
Chocolate, blueberry and hazelnut tart with elderflower kefir cream
Tickets are limited. $115 from April 1-May 1, 2016.
