DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Bill Jones, of Deerholme Farm, and the Cowichan Chef&rsquo;s Collaborative will host a fundraiser in CGC&rsquo;s honour on May 1, 2016 at the Old Firehouse Wine &amp; Cocktail Bar. This afternoon event will be a long table affair, with individual courses paired with local wine and cider. This year&rsquo;s menu has been designed by an incredible group of local chefs including:<br /><br />Ian Blom (Old Firehouse Wine and Cocktail Bar)<br />Absinthe cured Confit Raincoast Trout. Crispy Skin. Fermented Fennel &amp; Sea asparagus, ramp puree.<br /><br />Bill Jones (Deerholme Farm)<br />Smoked Turkey and Stinging Nettle strata with wild herbs and morel sauce<br /><br />Dan Hudson (Hudson&rsquo;s on First)<br />Assiette of Pork with Choucroute<br /><br />Fatima da Silva (Vinoteca)<br />Nettle and hazelnut ravioli with chicken broth and crispy pancetta<br /><br />Marisa Goodwin (Organic Fair).<br />Chocolate, blueberry and hazelnut tart with elderflower kefir cream<br /><br />Tickets are limited. $115 from April 1-May 1, 2016.<br /><br /><br /></p>
