This year at The Root Cellar we are planning A LOCAVORE'S CHRISTMAS, celebrating all the wonderful produce and provisions that come from the near and dear. From local turkeys to trees, chocolate to cheese, and the city's largest and freshest selection of locally sourced, organic and conventional produce - we will be offering everything you need to show your guests just what's so special about our beautiful island. From 12-1 the Ocean/Jack fm Community Cruiser will be stopping by to say hello, and from 12-3pm Santa will be in our Local Christmas Tree Forest taking photos free of charge - bring your camera! Many local producers will be on site sampling their tasty wares and you can enjoy a hot apple cider with a donations for our friends at The Rainbow Kitchen. Come be merry, healthy & bright with A LOCAVORE'S CHRISTMAS at The Root Cellar.
