Before the screening of the documentary “Something Ventured” you will watch three people pitch their ideas and projects to you. You’ll get time for questions and then you’ll vote. We’ll screen the film and then reveal who wins the $3500 prize sponsored by Tectoria and the Awesome Sh*t Club. "Something Ventured" Before the term venture capitalist was born there were a handful of men who – through timing, foresight, a keen ability to size up other people, and a lot of luck – saw opportunity where others did not. They fostered a one-of-a-kind business culture that encouraged extraordinary risk and made possible unprecedented rewards.
