For those who know the wisdom of Zelda, the zen of Pong and the drama of Halo comes a brand new live-action first-person poetry show – wait – what?!
That’s right, poetry.
Because there is an entire generation out there now who’ve grown up playing videogames. They are our myths, our fairytales, the way we see the world and the way we relate to each other.
The Videogame Poetry Show will feature original spoken word and music from over ten local artists including members of the 2009 Victoria Slam Team Dave Morris, Missie Peters and Skawt Chonzz. The show will also include video sketch comedy from Victoria’s Loading Ready Run, videogame inspired beats from DJ Hipples, visuals and musical interludes and vintage gaming courtesy of Flavour.
