Public Celebration of Martin Luther King Day

The Interfaith Community of Nanaimo is holding a public celebration of Martin Luther King Day.

Guest speakers from the African Heritage Society will make a brief presentation about King’s vision and message of equality, peace and justice. There will be time for anyone attending to ask questions or to share a sentiment on King and how his ideas are being put to work in the community.

Please bring a small food item to share. Coffee and tea will be provided. Donations to the African Heritage Society will be gratefully received.
