The Ozark’s premier traditional bluegrass band MIDNIGHT FLIGHT will kick off a planned series of benefit concerts to help local people in need. The band and Oak Bay United have partnered to raise funds for Our Place Shelter, the Woman's Transition House and the Cridge Center for Children.
MIDNIGHT FLIGHT features inspired instrumental musicianship, tight vocal harmonies, and a unique brand of spontaneous humour that makes the band a perennial crowd pleaser!
The historic church built in 1914 was condemned and closed for public gathering 17 years ago. The congregation has recently managed to restore the old church and also installed $70,000 in stage, lighting and sound system equipment. The 1920's ambiance with great acoustics and seating for over 200 makes this the premier Bluegrass concert venue!
