New to Nanaimo artist and art therapist Mia Tremably displays a selection of her mixed media painting including encaustic and printmaking. Her work was well received in Vancouver and during it's Nanaimo debut at the Artwalk in December.
Comox Valley artist Kelly Gough is showing her copper wire and metal sculptures for the first time in Nanaimo. Kelly has sculptures in China, Ontario and Vancouver among other places. They range from densely hand woven copper baskets to light as air copper wire "webs".
The work is on display until February 25 and the opening night with artists in attendance is Saturday January 28 7 to 9 pm.
