Homes for the Holidays - Tour 2009 in support of Kids Help Phone. Tour five elegant Nanaimo homes decorated for the holidays. Local interior designers have partnered with home decor retailers to create distinctly themed holiday showcases. Tickets can be purchased at Genesis Hair Studio, 5070 Uplands Drive; The Quilted Duck Gift Cottage, 5299 Rutherford Road; or at Flying Fish Kitchen & Gift, 180 Commercial Street in Nanaimo. You can also purchase a ticket on line at www.kidshelpphone.ca/homesfortheholidays. This event is sponsored by WestJet, Chris Martin of Remax Nanaimo, Palladian Develpments and the Rotary Club of Nanaimo Oceanside.
This year marks Kids Help Phone's 20th anniversary. For the past two decades, Kids Help Phone has been at the forefront in providing help and hope through its phone and counselling services, earning the respect and trust of kids across Canada. When young people feel like there's nowhere to turn, Kids Help Phone is there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
