The MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards highlight and recognize the many knowledge-based businesses located in the mid and North Vancouver Island region including the Sunshine Coast.
When we think of the mid and North Islands business successes in science, technology and innovation, the terms diverse, unique, determination and achievement often come to mind. The mid and North Island businesses, encompassing Mill Bay in the south to the tip of Vancouver Island in the north, and including communities on the West Coast, Sunshine Coast and Gulf Islands are continually growing and establishing their mark as a major economic contributor.
In this region, there are a lot of businesses with remarkable stories of success and service in the science and technology sectors. This gala event will highlight the achievements of individuals or businesses in 14 award categories representing:
