Yin & Yang yoga emphasizes the relationship between passive and active poses. The majority of yoga classes and yoga poses are intricately guided by the yin and the yang and developing one's understanding of these yogic principles will enhance one's practice of most styles of yoga. The goal of this series is to empower students with a greater understanding of fundamental poses, alignment, breathing techniques, and transitions that can be used to explore the benefits that yoga can provide to each practitioner. Every pose offers something different for every student, who is different again every practice, and this series will help students learn how to deepen their own yoga practice, regardless of experience.
