Join a cast of thousands (tens?) at Peacock Billiards (formerly the James Joyce Bistro) at 834 Johnson St. on Bloomsday Eve as we launch a brand new website, announce the winner of our Bloomsday Photo Contest, and kick off the "Year of Ulysses."
World-renowned artist and Joyce devotee Robert Amos will be in attendance to announce a new contest for the coming year as we make a major announcement about our digital publishing initiative. (Hint: it involves Ulysses.)
There will be abundant Guinness, lively conversation, short speechifying, and a presentation of the new website along with some sample pages from the 1922 Ulysses on display. All are welcome!
