Women's Transformative Journey by Kayak

For those of you who are looking for a bit of adventure and yearning for time to reflect inwards and honor the Self, we invite you to share in our Women's Transformative Journey by Kayak in June. This has been a long-time dream... to create an experience for women where we meld the power of adventure (using the kayak as its vehicle) with the deep healing and cleansing power of the Wilderness to transform our Lives.

This unique wilderness trip is designed to renew your connections with the wild world, while uncovering the meaning and power in your life transitions and challenges. Through the adventure of kayaking and contemplative exercises, you will tune into your sources of guidance and fulfillment.

We start our journey by bringing an intention of what you would like to see change in your life. This could be clarity about a job situation, a decision about a significant relationship, or reconnecting with a part of yourself that has too long been neglected. Whatever your unique purpose, this journey of mind/body/spirit will be shared in confidence within the warm and supportive environment of a group of like-minded women.

This unique experience is limited to 8 women only as we like to keep our group small for the best interactions.

On this trip your physical and emotional safety will be supported by two experienced professional guides:
Jan Kretz, a certified sea kayak guide and instructor with a degree in Recreation & Tourism Management, is the owner/operator of Adventuress � Wilderness Adventures for Women.
Katy Lipkind, along with being a certified sea kayak guide, holds an MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in wilderness-based therapies.

Cost: $499 includes Thursday evening pre-trip orientation with camping at Frog Hollow, 3 days of kayaking & camping through the enchanting Gulf Islands, facilitated journey, kayak, gear, hearty & healthy meals, and camping equipment. No experience is necessary; basic instruction is included.
