UnitedNOW! presents its third annual "Volunteering with Benefits"- a TimeRaiser being held on Friday, May 11th 7:30 - 9:30 pm at the Marriott Hotel. Ages 19 +, Semi formal.
For the third year, the event will raise volunteer hours by providing people in the community the opportunity to pledge their time, instead of their money, for prizes.
Besides having the chance to win a prize, it is a great opportunity to learn more about volunteerism in your community. In attendance, will be representatives from different not-for-profit and charity organizations explaining what they do and how you can help.
A fun evening of learning, music, food and of course- great prizes!
Tickets: $15 (to cover the event costs), includes appetizers.

What is UnitedNOW!
UnitedNOW! is a young adult group, part of the United Way of Greater
Victoria, promoting awareness, engagement, leadership and philanthropy
among people in their 20's and 30�s living on Southern Vancouver Island.
Our Council members are responsible for planning and organizing events
throughout the year and informing others of local community issues.
