This year's event features more than 113 wines and over 20 local beers for you to sample. This will also be the Surf Pub's last night of the season. What could be better than an afternoon of sampling wine and beer followed by a meal at the pub whilst watching the sun dip into the ocean. The 1:15 & 2:30 ferry from Nanaimo will get you to the tasting with plenty of time...Our Gabriola Gertie bus will be waiting at the Gabriola ferry terminal to take you to The Surf Lodge (regular bus fares apply). The bus will pick up from the Surf Lodge at 5 and again at 5:15 which will both get you back to the ferry terminal in time for the 5:35 ferry back to Nanaimo.

Tickets for off-islanders are only $12.50 to compensate for the ferry cost...Gabriolan's can join our wine club for $20 (limited time offer) and pick up a ticket for $10 which includes 10% off all wine at the Village Liquor Store for a lifetime.

We recommend having lunch prior to tasting...cheese & crackers will be available to nibble on...
