We’re celebrating International Women’s Day with The Pedaler, home of Victoria’s best cycling tours.
Join Rose Lee from The Pedaler as she leads a cycling tour around town to visit some prominent females involved in Victoria’s brewing scene. The tour pays a visit to three locations for tastes and the opportunity to chat with the fabulous females contributing to Victoria’s vibrant local beer culture. The tour ends with a pint and burger at Canoe.
This event is for women only.
12:45pm – meet at The Pedaler
1:00pm – tour departs
1:15pm – arrive at Spinnakers
2:25pm – arrive at The Moon
3:25pm – arrive at Driftwood
4:30pm – arrive at Canoe for meal & a pint
$59 (plus tax) ticket will grant:
- a guided bicycle tour with tastings
- stylish and comfortable bicycles provided by The Pedaler (browse available styles here)
- a chocolate truffle and craft beer pairing at Spinnakers
- beer samples and snacks at The Moon
- a tour of Driftwood brewery and a tasting
- 1 pint of beer at Canoe plus a feature meal from Canoe’s menu

Important Points:
- all participants are to meet at The Pedaler at 12:45pm for a 1pm start
- the tour starts at The Pedaler’s main location in the Crystal Garden: 719 Douglas St
- the tour will finish at approximately 4:30pm at Canoe Brewpub
- bicycles are picked up from Canoe so you can stay at Canoe as long as you like
- The Pedaler provides helmets or you can bring your own
- The cycling distance is approximately 10km and is rated as an easy ride
- Wear comfortable clothing but specialized cycling wear is not required
- Pedalling under the influence is against the law (is this too harsh to include? we include this in our pre-tour safety talk)
Victoria Beer Week (March 7 - 15) is a nine-day series of events highlighting a broad selection of BC craft breweries while educating greater Victoria residents about craft beer. The week is bookended with large events that pair BC craft beer with local Victoria food vendors, with a clear focus on showcasing quality BC craft beer and educating beer enthusiasts.
