UVic’s low brass instructors Scott MacInnes and Paul Beauchesne will delight lovers of low tones with a menagerie of brass instruments: the C and F tubas, euphonium, tenor and bass trombones, as well as the seldom-played cimbasso. Program will include Vaughan Williams’ Tuba Concerto, Arthur Pryor’s Blue Bells of Scotland, Ewazen's Trio for Trombone, Tuba and Piano, Morricone's Gabriel's Oboe and more. Proceeds will benefit the Eugene Dowling Scholarship for Tuba and Euphonium.
