Saanich Fusion Soccer club invites the public to participate in the 6th Annual Turf Burn 7-A-Side Adult Co-ed Soccer Tournament.
Turf Burn is held annually in support of upgrading facilities and programming for soccer players of all ages in the Greater Victoria. Since inception, this event has raised nearly $50,000, helping subsidize youth soccer fees, as well as helping fund the addition of player benches at Lochside Park.
Mark Phillips, Turf Burn Tournament Chair said �2013 was our best year ever with 33 teams participating for, a total of 600 players, plus volunteers and spectators visiting this 3-day event. With the emphasis on fun, it has become to be known as the best co-ed soccer tournament on the Island�.
