Turf Burn is held annually in support of upgrading facilities and programming for soccer players of all ages in the Greater Victoria. Since inception, this event has raised nearly $50,000, helping subsidize youth soccer fees, as well as helping fund the addition of player benches at Lochside Park.=0D=0A=
Mark Phillips, Turf Burn Tournament Chair said “2013 was our best year ever with 33 teams participating for, a total of 600 players, plus volunteers and spectators visiting this 3-day event. With the emphasis on fun, it has become to be known as the best co-ed soccer tournament on the Island”.=0D=0A=
