Beer & Burger fundraiser at the Foundry Pub on Saturday, August 16. Ladies come and enjoy a pink & white dance party with DJ-Tiffany spinning the tunes. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 draw and drink specials for the ladies. Tickets only $15 and available through the Foundry Pub and the Nanaimo Canadian Cancer Society office. This event is in support of our Nanaimo riders Ryan Blakey and Carla Johnson.

The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock raises money for pediatric cancer research and programs for children with a history of cancer. The Tour de Rock team cycles from one end of the Vancouver Island to the other, over 14 days, covering 1,000 kilometres.
