Join Dirk Huysman to celebrate his first solo show. A combination of his musings in glass and photography. A unique look at the interplay between art and technology, technology and art. A glass blower with decades of experience turns molten glass into vases, bowls, stemless glassware, mugs, paperweights, glass balls, lamps, and more. Dirk's photography captures technology through the lens of a visual artist and the mind of a lifelong learner. The two are juxtaposed in this exhibit and Dirk will be available all weekend to answer questions and share his stories.

Opening Friday, July 25th, Dirk’s first artist talk: art through the eyes of technology, at 7:15pm. The gallery will be open Saturday with Dirk’s second artist’s talk: technology through the eyes of art, at 2:30pm.

"This multi-genre show is a result of reflections on technology. Inspired by these reflections, I have attempted to grapple with how technology influences our aesthetic as artists, as well as viewers, and how creativity is influenced by the concept of technology.
