=0D=0A=Join Dirk Huysman to celebrate his first solo show. A combination of his musings in glass and photography. A unique look at the interplay between art and technology, technology and art. A glass blower with decades of experience turns molten glass into vases, bowls, stemless glassware, mugs, paperweights, glass balls, lamps, and more. Dirk's photography captures technology through the lens of a visual artist and the mind of a lifelong learner. The two are juxtaposed in this exhibit and Dirk will be available all weekend to answer questions and share his stories.
=0D=0A=Opening Friday, July 25th, Dirk’s first artist talk: art through the eyes of technology, at 7:15pm. The gallery will be open Saturday with Dirk’s second artist’s talk: technology through the eyes of art, at 2:30pm.

Inspired by these reflections, I have attempted to grapple with how technology influences our aesthetic as artists, as well as viewers, and how creativity is influenced by the concept of technology.
