Letters are the foundation of so much; being able to speak, read or write is all tied to understanding letters. At NUKO, we help kids who face learning challenges develop essential educational skills, like letters, so that they can grow into vibrant community members with the tools they need to succeed.

Join NUKO at the Letter Tea and help us grow literacy and learning in Nanaimo for kids with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The Letter Tea offers an afternoon in the garden with tea sampling from DavidsTea, live music, light refreshments and door prizes. The highlight of the event will be a live tea pot auction where you can bid for your favorite unique tea pot!

On August 24th, from 1:00-3:30, join the summer time festivities at NUKO�s Learning Centre. DavidsTea will be featuring their five new fall flavors at the event! Enjoy your tea and goodies while taking in the beautiful valley view and listening to amazing music by East Bound Train. Don�t miss your chance to go home with a unique and beautiful tea pot form our live tea pot auction. 10 unique teapots will be auctioned off at the end of the event and one could be yours!

All proceeds of this event go to Nanaimo�s Unique Kids Organizations Learning Centre. NUKO�s Learning centre is a place where kids from Nanaimo who face neuro-developmental challenges can receive the academic, social and recreational support they need to thrive. This program maintains a 3 to 1 student to staff ration which allows staff to meet the individual needs of every child
