Friday, November 14, 2014 - 5:00pm to Sunday, November 16, 2014 - 2:00pm

We live in ever changing and challenging times. As a result we are often caught in change and flux: living life in unexpected ways. We can become disconnected from the passion that once fed us in our roles and responsibilities. We may be searching for our next step in life. We begin to scan our inner landscapes for clues. We travel further on our journey toward an undivided life.
Circles of Trust experiences are occurring in various countries and settings: the circles include those who are serving in business, education, non-profits, health care, faith communities, and other organizations in service to others. The introductory retreat is based on the learning of the activist and writer Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal (for more information, please visit: www.couragerenewal.org).

Co-facilitator Dan Hines is Courage & Renewal Facilitator mentored by Parker Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal. Dan serves as a coach, speaker, leadership consultant for business, educational, and religious groups, and an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Canada. He is also a consultant about intentional communities and co-operative living from his experience with the RareBirds Housing Co-operative. He loves a good book, a hike, and cooking with friends.

Co-facilitator Theresa Matus is Director of Mount Royal University's Academic Development Centre in Calgary, Alberta. She completed her Courage & Renewal Facilitator preparation with the Center for Courage and Renewal. In addition to 20 years spent in the health care sector, Theresa freelanced for 15 years, teaching creative and improvisational dance to a wide variety of individuals, groups, and organizations. She was a member of a movement master class for nine years and currently studies and practices the contemplative discipline of Authentic Movement. Theresa finds opportunities for growth and new life in her work, in the daily practice of mindfulness, and in the regenerative and sacred arts of dance and gardening.
