It was the music that Paul McCartney grew up with. The music that has its root in ragtime, stringband, danceband, music the music of the 20 century. When you listen to the The Carolina Bluebirds you hear it. The CBB ‘s repertoire explores the old and the not so old, the music of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and even some later than that.
This weekend the Gorge-ous Café at the corner of Gorge Road and Tillicum in Victoria presents a long weekend of music. The music of spring, featuring this Friday, April 3, from 7.30 to 9.30, a glimpse into the intricacies of Victoria’s newest trio, featuring the voice of Caroline Covil, supported by the strings of Ian Johnston and Graeme Card.
Admission free. Donations to the band accepted.
