DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>It was the music that Paul McCartney grew up with.&nbsp; The music that has its root in ragtime, stringband, danceband, music the music of the 20 century.&nbsp; When you listen to the The Carolina Bluebirds you hear it.&nbsp; The CBB &lsquo;s repertoire explores the old and the not so old, the music of the 20&rsquo;s, 30&rsquo;s, 40&rsquo;s and even some later than that.<br />&nbsp;<br />This weekend the Gorge-ous Caf&eacute; at the corner of Gorge Road and&nbsp; Tillicum in Victoria presents a long weekend of music.&nbsp; The music of spring, featuring this Friday, April 3, from 7.30 to 9.30, a glimpse into the intricacies of Victoria&rsquo;s newest trio, featuring the voice of Caroline Covil, supported by the strings of Ian Johnston and Graeme Card. <br />&nbsp;<br />Admission free.&nbsp; <em>Donations to the band accepted.</em></p>
