The Butchart Gardens: The Magic of Christmas Season

Christmas lights, holiday wreaths, carollers, ice skating, festive dining—it’s an exciting time at The Gardens. In fact, there’s so much happening from December 1st through January 6th, we refer to it as the Magic of Christmas season.
Enjoy the traditions of the season with our Twelve Days of Christmas displays placed throughout the gardens. Sing the song as you walk along.
During the Magic of Christmas season, if you are 12 years old or younger, bring a paper snowflake you've made and exchange it for a cup of hot chocolate in the Coffee Shop. (Limit of one per day, sorry no substitutions.) Perhaps your snowflake will adorn one of our windows.
* During the Magic of Christmas season, the Japanese Garden closes at 4 pm. It is not part of the festive light display
