Tempura and Teriyaki with Chef Akemi Akutsu

Japanese food is healthy, delicious, and relatively easy to make. With a few simple techniques and shopping tips, you can easily recreate your favourite restaurant meals at home. Join Chef Akemi Akutsu to learn the tricks for making the perfect, crispy tempura. She will also reveal her secret family recipe for tangy teriyaki sauce.

Menu:

- 1/2-size Hoso Maki with Spicy Tuna, Cucumber & Salty plum. Learn how to make appetizer size sushi, using a basic rolling technique.

- Dynamite Rolls with Squid and Vegetable tempura, topped with sliced avocados and sesame seeds. Learn how to make tempura and inside-out roll technique.

- Teriyaki Salmon Rolls with Salmon and vegetable. Learn how to make "Real" Teriyaki sauce and cook with salmon.
