Join us for Tapped, Mount Washington's annual beer festival, on Friday, July 15th. This year's event includes a variety of craft breweries, a beer seminar, live music and a pig roast and/or BBQ (available at an extra charge). Enjoy it all while soaking in the beautiful mountain views overlooking Strathcona Provincial Park.
The beer seminar will be led by Jeff Lucas, the General Manager of Cascadia Liquor. He brings 12 years of experience directly from the beer world and has recently helped fuel the local explosion of craft beer, keeping the wall revolving with a multitude of styles, flavours and hop levels. He has completed both his Prud’homme and Cicerone level 1 certification.
Tapped tickets are $30 and include 8 sample tickets as well as live entertainment. The Pig roast is an additional $20 (or you can get a BBQ dinner on the night for an additional cost - price varies).
A shuttle from Courtenay is also available for $10 (round trip). Pick up is at 5:15pm and drop off is at 10pm, at A&W on Cliffe Ave in Courtenay.
A full package is available for $54, which includes festival entrance and 8 samples, pig roast and return shuttle. Tickets can be purchased online or at Cascadia Liquor, Courtenay.
