Living by the Water: Streamside Stewardship
Some of us are lucky enough to live on or near a creek or stream. Life by the streamside is unique; especially when it comes to landscaping. This in-situ workshop takes place beside beautiful Nile Creek, where biologist Dave Clough will talk about stream life, backyard activity awareness, streambank erosion prevention and demonstrate native plant landscaping. Participants will come away with knowledge of how to care for their streamside property and a better understanding of the fascinating world right outside their door.
