Steve Dawson's new album "Rattlesnake Cage" is an exquisitely recorded solo acoustic instrumental adventure into fingerstyle and slide guitar. Recorded with one vintage microphone and no overdubs or frills, Steve's new music is part composition, part improvisation and tips its hat to the "American Primitive" sounds of John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Bert Jansch, and the blues and ragtime styles of Mississippi John Hurt, Ry Cooder, Blind Boy Fuller, Gary Davis and others. Steve will be on tour in 2014 in support of the new album with the mighty Keith Lowe on bass.
