Fri, Apr 13th, 6:30-10pm, Soup-er Nepal Fresh Water FUNdraiser – Hosted by Lea Ross & Wendy Morisseau Please join us on a journey that began with a simple idea while trekking with two friends in the Mountain Kingdom of Nepal. While there we asked ourselves how we could give back to this beautiful country and it's people. Our Sirdar (guide) Tek Rai suggested that we help his remote village of Seduwa in SE Nepal bring running water to the elementary school. And so it began eight years ago...... Through volunteers and community support (originally Nanaimo) we have had six Soup-er Nepal Fundraisers.
Please come see for yourself through a short presentation and beautiful slideshow the amazing results of our ongoing efforts. This will be followed by a Live Toonie Auction and decadent desserts. We look forward to meeting you.
