Shawnigan Lake School Hosts Junior Squash Open

The Shawnigan Lake School Junior Open will include players such as Tyler Olson, who is currently the top ranked U-17 in the country, to those competing for the first time at this level.

Shawnigan Lake School has a long history with this sport, as the school had the first squash courts on Vancouver Island in the early 1900s. Two years ago, the school built six glass-backed courts as part of it�s new Sports Complex and well-known coach Mike Johnson joined Shawnigan�s athletics department as Director of Squash.
