Lights, Camera, Fashion! Treat Mom to a Night Out - Mother's Day Weekend.

A collaboration between the Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association and the Kinettes, this evening of fashion, beauty and cocktails is sure to bring out your inner diva. Attendees will be pampered by local salons, spas, estheticians and make-up artists. Guests will also have the opportunity to sample wines and nibble on canap�s from local restaurants. Enjoy one of the delicious drink specials or a cocktail or two at the bar while choosing which spa treatment you will have next. Each guest will receive a Sex and the Harbour City swag bag with goodies from downtown businesses and a chance to win one of the fabulous door prizes.

The main event will feature a fashion show showcasing the season's latest looks from downtown boutiques. One lucky lady will also walk away with a fabulous grand prize: an ultimate mind, body, and soul makeover valued at $3000.

So dress to impress, head downtown, and strut your stuff down the red carpet for a great cause. What could be better?

The Kinette Club of Nanaimo has been active in the community for over 60 years. The all-female non-profit service club supports a number of local causes and programs in Nanaimo including the Child Development Centre, the Haven Society, the Nanaimo Cystic Fibrosis Chapter, the School District 68 Foundation, and bursaries for post-secondary students.

Tickets for Sex and the Harbour City are $30 and are only available in advance at Catwalk Fashions, Damsels Fashions, Lucky's Liquor Store, and The Queens. All proceeds will be donated right back into the community to a number of local charities.
