Saturna Island Lamb Barbeque

A joyous celebration of Canada Daycentred around a traditionally prepared lamb barbeque.
Our community has hosted this Barbeque since 1950 when it began as a school picnic. The Barbecue is hosted on Hunter /field, part of the Winter Cove, Gulf Islands Park reserve.
The feature meal is local lamb barbecued over an open fire and carved onto your plate, coleslaw, Spanish rice and a bun. Coffee and cookies round out your meal.
As well as te dinner the evet includes all-day live entrtainment, local crafts, fun for children, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and ice cream. We have a Beer garden for adults with local wine and beer and cider.
The Barbeque is accessible by boat, water taxi or BC Ferries.
