Our intention is to foster Co-creation by calling-out our community to share with each other their skills, and their offerings, their compassion, their play and fun. We will offer family friendly camping, with quiet areas and with more active areas.

Our Vision is to create a Pride event that encourages and facilitates meaningful connections and a sense of belonging - with a mind to our future sustainability and well being.

The Salt Spring Pride Festival is open to the general public and in particular 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies, and those who are questioning. Diversity and Inclusivity is our guiding principle. We are creating a Camping Pride Village - The Rainbow Campsite, on the Farmer's Institute's extensive grounds and plan to hold all our workshops and events there. The traditional Pride Parade is planned on its previous popular route, from a start in Ganges and ending at Centennial Park.

There will be encouragement for participants at the Festival site to co-create many of the events and activities with their own offerings - from music jams, to art, to talking circles, to giveaways, open mic, children's games, excursions and more. DAISSI will offer a key note workshop on a contemporary topic. Saturday will have a Pride Dance in the Hall, plus a different tone of music outdoors on the stage. A Pop Up Self Expression Mobile sound system is available to on site musicians and the Stage will have time slots for open mic performances.

The Salt Spring Island Pride festival is hosted on the traditional, ancestral lands of the SENĆOŦEN- and HUL'Q'UMI'NUM'- speaking Coast Salish peoples.
