Go home with four types that you make. Recipes: Classic French Preserves Low Sugar Jams Universal Chutney Formula We will cover classic preserve ratios and techniques, and then learn where and how to use pectin products.


We will explore low-sugar jams. For the more adventurous, an introduction to vegetables in jams, and some tips for thinking about flavour pairings with herbs and spices for making your jams and preserves unique.


This first workshop will also cover the basics of canning, including the equipment, safe practices for water bath canning (and when to opt for pressure canning).
